Summary
Place nodes on a 6x6 board and connect them by the direction their ports face, then light a cigarette and watch the signal run until the smoke is gone. Each run descends RING 2 to RING 0 across 15 stages and three bosses that drop walls on your board and disable adjacent nodes.
