Check Out My Game ("the site", "we") is a launch board for games at checkoutmygame.com. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site.

Accounts

You sign in through a third-party provider such as Steam, Google, Discord or GitHub. You are responsible for what is done from your account. One person, one account, one vote per game. Accounts used to manipulate votes, spam, impersonate a developer or harass people can be limited or removed without notice.

Listings

Developers may submit games they made or have permission to represent. We also list new releases found on public store pages, marked Unclaimed; those carry the title, a short description, the price and a link back to the store, and never show store art unless a developer licenses it. The developer of any listing can claim it to edit it, or have it removed by using the flag at the bottom of the game page or emailing [email protected].

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: listings, screenshots you license, comments and replies. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store, reproduce and adapt it for the purpose of running the site, including in feeds, previews and the badge. Only upload art you have the right to license. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive or infringing. We can remove content that breaks these terms or that we judge harmful to the site.

AI summaries

The Select feedback section on a game page is an automated summary of the human comments, written by an AI model. It only restates what commenters wrote, but it can misread them and is not a review or a verdict. Comments themselves are always written by people.

Store links and third parties

Store pages, prices and release dates belong to their stores and can change without notice. Purchases happen on the store, not here. We are not responsible for third-party sites, stores or sign-in providers.

Availability and changes

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or shut down features or the site at any time. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use means you accept the new version.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including AI summaries.
